Welcome to lake Woerthersee!

The Pink Lake – International Gay Festival in Velden at the lake Woerthersee takes place from 29th August til 1st September 2013.

Events in big cities and the holiday hotspots of the gay community have long since become permanent fixtures of the annual party season.  Which makes the idea of hosting an event “off the beaten track”, in a small town in the heart of Europe, appear somewhat unusual – but that’s precisely what makes the Pink Lake Festival so attractive!

Not the usual big-city backdrop, no parades for the titillation of curious onlookers, but rather an international get-together for gays, lesbians and everyone in between, including friends of the community,… converging from different countries and gathering in a beautiful town amidst magical countryside and directly at the lake in Velden!

So, why not head to new shores!  Be a part of the fun as a new chapter in the history of the European gay community is written and the Pink Lake Festival makes waves again for the 5th time.
