Minimundus
“Nobody does it better” – this is the expectation we place upon our own
shoulders when it comes to the quality, detail and accuracy of our models. What
began in 1958 on a very small scale, has now been elevated to the level of
perfection. Nowadays, we present some 150 models of the most beautiful buildings
from across five continents – all exceptionally true to the original.
The models only represent one part of the success of the MINIMUNDUS concept. On our 26,000 m², visitors also enjoy the well-maintained grounds and take great joy in the special plants and floral decorations. Six gardeners dedicate their expertise to these plants during the season. We place increasing emphasis in presenting our models in an ambience which, as much as is possible, transports visitors into the natural setting of the original structures. Parts of MINIMUNDUS have even been turned into desert and tropical rain forest.
